Begun as a manga comic book in 1996, Yu-Gi-Oh! has morphed into a TV show, video games, and "Dueling Monsters," a role-playing card game that already has an underground following among U.S. teenage gamers. Alfred Kahn is also known for another famous toy craze, The Cabbage Patch Kids. | ||||

Yukinori Yanagi & Naoyoshi Hikosaka Internationally acclaimed artist Yukinori Yanagi, who first became known through his World Ant Farm series in 1990, has addressed themes ranging from transnationality and the instability of nationhood to nationalism. He was joined by Naoyoshi Hikosaka, a conceptual artist coming out of the activist 1960s, in a discussion on how historical and political concerns are reflected in their work. | ||||
