			American photographer Fazal Ilahi Sheikh has spent the last eleven years working with refugee groups from east African countries, Afghanistan, and Brazil. His photographs are respectful, dignified, and introspective portraits presented with detailed testimonials describing the experiences of those pictured. By naming and documenting individual refugees, their families, and their settings, these series and the accompanying publications spread awareness of international human rights issues. Four exhibits of Sheikh's work from the last decade will be on view.
