		•Making China - An Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Art Opened January 24, 2002
			The exhibit features recent works by 13 Chinese artists working in various media, including painting, sculpture, video and installation. "Making China" is a rare opportunity for a Western audience to view some of the most original contemporary art being produced at this pivotal time in China's history. Many of the featured artists have never been seen in the West, and the works provide a fresh perspective on the process of environmental and social change that China is currently experiencing. Instead of focusing on the diversity demonstrated by the art, this exhibit concentrates on the people and the environments in which they live. The exhibit is co-curated by Huang Du and Bingyi Huang.
