Cantonese Opera Heritage Hall

| Cantonese opera is the performing art typical of Guangdong and Guangxi Provinces; it is also hugely popular in Hong Kong and Cantonese communities overseas. The permanent exhibition in the Cantonese Opera Heritage Hall reconstructs a shed theatre setting with a typical backstage display, allowing visitors a closer insight at this unique art. What's more, costumes, make-up and documents are showcased, while the Museum's archives will offer visitors the chance to look back at important performances from the past. | ||||
