The Bible Gateway
- Based at Calvin College, and one of the ministries
of the "Gospel Communication Network", it is no surprise
that this source favors an evangelical Protestant perspective.
In spite of this limitation on the resource pointers, this remains
one of the most useful general purpose Bible sites. Selecting
from a pull- down menu of translations, search options include
Boolean operators for verses and for words, with links to the
full text. Unlike those more scholarly versions which limit searches
to one biblical book at a time, here you may search all at once.

The Christian Coptic Orthodox Church Of Egypt
- The Coptic Church is based on the teachings
of Saint Mark who brought Christianity to Egypt during the reign
of the Roman emperor Nero. This site is a very informative and
highly graphical. It has information on liturgies, church history,
hagiographies, calenders and a link to the Coptic
Network Archives which contains a wealth of articles, pictures,
and other materials, in addition to a backlog of Copt-Net Newsletters
for all those who have let their subscription lapse. You can
also connect to St. Shenouda
The Archimandrite Coptic Society which contains valuable
articles and translations of rare manuscripts.

The Scriptorium
