Piero Project
Housed at Princeton University, this project uses Piero della Francesca's Legend of the True Cross, painted between 1452 and 1466, in the church of San Francesco in Arezzo, Italy, in an experimental pilot project. All the images of the fresco cycle have been scanned from 8"x10" color transparencies or 2"x2" color slides, then texture mapped into the computer at a level of resolution that functions for close study, distant viewing, and above all, during real-time movement.

Women Artists Archive
The Women Artists Archive is a special collection in the Ruben Salazar Library at Sonoma State University and is open for public use. It contains information on over 1,400 women artists from the Middle Ages through the present day. Resources include: color and black-and-white slides, books on women's art history and individual artists, exhibition catalogues, and standing files containing printed material. Site includes a database of women artists.

Women's Studies Database
Begun in September 1992, the University of Maryland Women's Studies Database serves interests in the women's studies profession and in general women's issues. Contains conference announcements, calls for papers, arts and humanities links, employment opportunities, as well as a picture gallery (of uncredited photos), and a significant number of government documents.
