The Art Institute of Chicago houses one
of the finest collections of drawings in the country. For this
slide set 120 important works were selected by the faculty of
the History of Art Department at the University of Michigan and
by the curators of the collection. Among the drawings included
in the set are examples of beautifully articulated studies executed
by such Italian masters as Agostino Carracci and Giovanni Tiepolo.
Also represented are the powerful drawings of German Expressionist
artists such as Max Beckmann and George Grosz, as well as the
divers styles of nineteenth century French artists including Ingres,
Gericault, and Toulouse-Lautrec.
This set of 120 slides sells for $300.00.
You may buy the entire set or individual
slides from the set.
