THE KIMBELL MUSEUM OF ART

The paintings of fifty artists from the mid-thirteenth century to the early twentieth-century, make up this set. European and American masters are illustrated through sixty-two whole views and 104 carefully selected details. Among the Italian works are those acquired through a bequest of the Kress Foundation, including Duccio's "The Raising of Lazarus". There are also many fine examples of nineteenth century French paintings and eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British portraiture.
