Jacopo Pontormo (1494-1557) executed a Passion
Cycle in five fresco paintings for the Certosa del Galluzzo, just
outside of Florence, which includes the Prayer in the Garden,
Christ before Pilate, The Way to Calvary (Meeting with Veronica),
The Lamentation, and The Resurrection. Pontormo also executed
an oil painting, Supper at Emmaus, for the Certosa. This related
painting, now housed in the Galleria degli Uffizi, is included
in this set of slides made up of six full views and twenty-four
details and a slide of the Passion Cycle in situ at the Certosa
del Galluzzo.
