The Saint Louis Museum of Art collection of American painting has grown significantly throughout this century. Included in this notable collection are landscapes by Bierstadt, portraits by Copley and works by such modern masters as Ellsworth Kelly, Mark Rothko, and Georgia O'Keefe. Thirty-nine American masters are represented in the set of 130 slides. Eighty-one carefully selected details complement forty-nine whole views.
