Lecture by Dr. Euthymios Soulogiannis. Dr. Souloyiannis is the leading world authority on the Greeks of modern Egypt. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, he was for many years a Research Fellow at the Academy of Athens, Center for Modern and Contemporary history, where he is now Emeritus Director of Research. He has published several books on the Greek diasporas in Italy, Egypt, and South Africa. He has also organized the invaluable Egyption section of the Hellenic Literary and Historical Archive (ELIA) in Athens. |
