Major Events
* Diwali 2009 - "May the Festival of Lights brighten all of our lives"
Come join the Hindu Students Council for its annual Diwali celebration! There will be an interactive Puja from 3pm-4pm. Following that, we will serve delicious home-made Indian food. As with all of our events, everything is free of charge.In addition, donations will be collected for Ekal Vidyalaya, a charity that strives to provide education for underprivileged communities in India. $365 is enough to support an entire school of 30 kids for one whole year!
Have fun, meet people, eat great food, and celebrate one of India's grandest festivals of the year. And remember...feel free to show off your Indian clothes!
