* Garba/Raas
Garba/Raas serves as HSC's Fall semester kick-off event, a night of exciting festivities and traditional Indian dances in celebration of Navaratri. Known as a Hindu festival full of worship and dance, Navaratri is a nine-day festival that is dedicated to the worship of different forms of Shakti/Devi, the feminine aspect of the divine.

* Diwali
Diwali or Deepavali, known as the "Festival of Lights", is a widely celebrated festival in India and many other countries around the world. Each year, HSC holds one of the largest celebrations on campus for Diwali. The event includes an interactive Puja, performances by talented student groups, and a delicious Indian meal.
