We conduct peer-reviewed research in general field of bacteriology. More specifically, we investigate the basic mechanism of pathogenesis of uropathogenic E. coli, a cause of “uncomplicated” urinary tract infection and Proteus mirabilis, a cause of “complicated” urinary tract infection. In addition, we study the gastric pathogen, Helicobacter pylori.
