Date: Wednesday February 3, 2010
Location: Four Points by Sheraton, Ann Arbor

Today’s workforce is rapidly evolving and demands a dynamic and effective system for recruiting, leadership development, career advancement, and retention efforts. This is critical at U-M—and in Michigan—as there are increasing needs for an effective and knowledgeable workforce with shrinking resources.

Talent management is, quite simply, the process of addressing these challenges by attracting the interest of highly skilled individuals and fostering their effective entrance into the organization, while developing and keeping the talents of current experienced employees.

The 2010 U-M Management Conference will provide a forum for the University’s managers, at all levels, to learn about best practice in talent management.
