About Workplace 2009
The pace of the workplace is moving faster than ever, making personal leadership at all levels increasingly valuable to every organization. Workplace 2009 provides us with an ideal opportunity to invest in our learning and growth in a flexible format. Come for a half-day, or all day as we ask ourselves questions like the following:
- What will we need to learn to develop meaningful leadership skills, and how can we build on that learning throughout our lives?
- How can we communicate better with others as we are discovering our own personal leadership style?
- What resources in the University and the wider community can we draw upon?
- How can we support our friends and colleagues as they face similar challenges?
- What are the skills we will need to develop in order to be a better team member?
Workplace 2009 features workshops, resources, and demonstrations in areas that are important for your future success. We hope you will join us!
