Founded in 1968, the Center for Chinese Studies (CCS) Publications Program offers the following series: Michigan Monographs in Chinese Studies (ISSN 1081-9053; MMCS), formerly known as Michigan Papers in Chinese Studies (ISSN 0076-8065); Michigan Abstracts of Chinese and Japanese Works on Chinese History (ISSN 0076-7808; MA); Science, Medicine, and Technology in East Asia (SMTEA); Michigan Classics in Chinese Studies (MCCS); as well as non-series publications.
Cataloging-in-Publication: Publications of the Center for Chinese Studies have been catalogued as part of the Library of Congress Cataloging-in-Publication (CIP) program since 1978.
All books are printed on permanent/durable paper, conforming to requirements of the American National Standard for Information Sciences-Permanence of Paper for Publications and Documents in Libraries and Archives ANSI/NISO/Z39.48-1992.
