RESEARCH INTERESTS

    Cultural Psychology (culture and self; mutual influences of socio-cultural contexts and psychological processes including cognition, emotion, and motivation, with particular emphasis on culture, ethnicity, and gender; social versus personal representations of cultural values); Emotion and Cognition (perception, comprehension, and memory of emotional speech communications; nonconscious processing of affective information)
