CSAS Semester Course List: Winter 2005
Use the menu to the right to locate the specific information that you require

Click here for a printable version of this schedule

NOTE:  The following courses cover South Asia to varying degrees, from 25% to 100%.  For Center MA students, if you want a course to count toward the degree course requirement, remember that at least one-third of your effort (e.g., papers, readings) must be related to South Asia.  Therefore, verify with the instructor beforehand that you will be able to meet the requirement for courses you elect with less than 100% area content.

Some 400-level courses carry graduate credit, while others do not. It is up to the student to deterime the credit status of the course.

Due to frequent changes in times and locations, we are no longer listing that information.  Please consult the online course schedule.  We have noted restrictions on enrollment; please check footnotes carefully.

If you wish to take a course not listed here in which you feel you can complete 30% or more of the course work as South Asia related material, please fill out a Special Request for MA Degree Credit form.

Please note that this list is subject to change; updates will regularly be posted. U-M students may also check Wolverine Access for the latest course schedules.
