Study Abroad

Academic credit for Study Abroad programs, whether administered by U-M or by other universities, can in many cases be applied toward a LACS major. U-M academic year programs include Costa Rica, Santiago (Chile), Quito (Ecuador), and Bahia and Belo Horizonte (Brazil — new in 2001). Summer programs include Guanajuato (Mexico), the Dominican Republic, and Bahia and Belo Horizonte (Brazil). Application deadline is Oct. 9 for Winter 2001.
