The second-story apartment frames an old tradition – the open-air curing of meat – with the new: a zigzag pastiche of electrical wires. As your focus centers on the modernity of the Hisense air conditioner, you can discover another mix of old and new. The predecessor of Hisense (“Qingdao No. 2 Radio Factory”), with its 10 employees, was established in 1969 to produce transistor radios. In 1997, Hisense Electrical Appliance went public… the same year its inverter air conditioner was introduced into the market and was recognized by China Consumers' Association as the only "Zero Complaint" air conditioner brand in the industry.
