During my international travels I
am frequently asked to provide information on summer doctoral programs
to enable faculty members to pursue their degree, as many find that they
are unable to take several years from work and family responsibilities,
but can handle short, concentrated periods of study.
I conducted an electronic survey of the group International Network of Doctoral Education, and a number of responses were received. I provide them below; we will update this from time to time; please note that this cannot be considered an exhaustive list , but only those that were mentioned.

in 1-2 courses each semester, fall, spring, and summer with each course
taught in a one week intensive session on campus and the remainder online
