The Sangha River Network (SRN) is an interdisciplinary network of scientists and conservation professionals interested in the Sangha River region of central Africa. The Sangha River tropical forest is located in the transborder area between Cameroon, Central African Republic and Congo (Brazzaville).
Based at Yale University, USA and the McGill School of Environment at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, the SRN was established in 1997 to create innovative research initiatives among academic specialists in this ecologically and culturally rich region. It has since grown to include partnerships with European and African institutions.
