Getting to Ann Arbor

If you are taking a plane, the Detroit Metropolitan International Airport (DTW) is the closest (about 20 miles from Ann Arbor). A cab from the airport to Ann Arbor takes about 30 minutes and costs around $60 (Uber/Lyft may be less). There is also a bus (AirRide) that runs between DTW and downtown Ann Arbor. The bus frequency is roughly one per hour and the fare is $12. The Graduate hotel is 0.5 miles from the bus stop (Blake Transit Center).

Getting Around Ann Arbor

Ann Arbor is a highly walkable and bikeable city. However, it can be best to take a U-M bus when traveling between North and Central campuses or, if driving yourself, to take advantage of visitor parking spaces. U-M buses run frequently and can be ridden at no cost.
