2. What is the IEDP anyway?

The International Economic Development Program (IEDP) was started in 1999. It is a seven-week long, three-credit course culminating in an annual eight-to-nine-day trip we take to a developing country to study the social, political, and cultural factors surrounding economic development in a particular country. It is an exciting way to get hands on development experience. Take a look at our past IEDP experiences and find out our application timeline period for your chance to apply.

3. What else can I do as an IPSA member?

IPSA is growing, so there are plenty of opportunities to lead, innovate, and strengthen programs here. Currently, we comprise two broad committees. These committees run the gamut of opportunities at the Ford School, from organizing networking events that are regularly posted on our News and Events page to bringing in speakers and keeping members informed about international academic opportunities outside of the Ford School. As a member, you can benefit from these efforts and/or contribute to them by joining a committee or proposing a new one.
