The meeting at the Michigan League in Ann Arbor will focus on hypothesis generation and identify gaps in research. Confirmed speakers include: Gail Christopher from the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies. James Collins from Northwestern University. Susan Gennaro from the University of Pennsylvania, Carol Hogue from Emory University. Michael Lu from UCLA, Peter Nathanielsz from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Vasantha Padmanabhan from the University of Michian and David R.Williams from the University of Michigan. Attendees will hear from speakers and then break into four interdisciplinary work groups charged with transforming what they learn into four research "statements." The statements, presented the second day, are intended to inform future innovative and interdisciplinary research.
