Building Women's Studies in China and America: An International, Interdisciplinary Learning Community

Joining together scholars from the UM, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Chinese Women College, this project takes as its focus graduate education in China in women's and gender studies.

Girls Explore Mathematics through Social Science

This demonstration project encompasses an integrated set of three programs designed to strengthen middle-school girls' interest, competence and confidence in mathematics and mathematics-related activities through engaging them in social science research on adolescents.

Global Feminisms Project

The "Global Feminism Project" is a three-year (2002-2005) collaborative international project on"Global Feminism: Comparative Case Studies of Women's Activism and Scholarship", which examines the history of feminist activism, women's movements and academic women's studies in Poland, China, India, and the United States.

NSF ADVANCE

NSF ADVANCE is a five-year, grant funded project promoting institutional transformation in science and engineering fields. The goals of this program are to improve recruitment and retention of women faculty in science and engineering and to improve the institutional climate for them.

The Effects of State Policies Regarding Divorce, Child Support Procedures, and Mediation on Children's Well-Being and Parent-Child Relationships

The primary goal of the project is to understand the effects of policies concerning divorce, child support procedures and enforcement, and mediation on children's well-being and parent-child relations.
