Ultimate Frisbee
The Ultimate Frisbee event is back again. With the increasing numbers of enthusiastic Ultimate-ers among the desi junta, this should be a highly competitive event.

TEAM COMPOSITION:
People are requested submit teams of less than or equal to 8 players
Team composition: Coed recreational (girls and boys are allowed in a team)
- Team cannot have more than 5 players on the field, 8 total (5 players + 3 substitutes)
- Substitution can be made anytime the disc is out of play (out of bounds or points scored)
League System:
Depending on the number of teams, we can play round-robin or elimination.
Rules:
Basically played like football by passing the frisbee (or disc) to your teammates until you reach the other team's endzone. But once you are in possession of the disc, you cannot move. Details are below...
- Field size (will depend on number of teams)
- Game will be played in two halves - first half ends when one of the teams reach 8 points
- Game is played till one of the teams reaches 15 points by a difference of 2
- Beyond a tie of 17 points, the first team to score will win
- Points are scored by catching frisbee in the endzone, both feet have to be in the endzone
- Absolutely no contact allowed
- The referee will explain the detailed rules before each game. The game is basically refereed by one person, his/her decision will be final*
- If two players catch the disc at the same time, disc goes to the team on offense.
- Stall count is 6.
- Only one defense player can cover the offense player with the disc - no double teaming the offense player with disc.
- There needs to be one-arm distance between the defense player and the offense player with the disc.
- Spirit of fair play and having fun is more important than winning!!!
