Regents Meeting

Policies and Reservation Form
Please read policies carefully before filling out reservation forms.

Electronic presentation equipment and assistance are provided upon request for individuals making presentations at Regents' Meetings. These services must be scheduled in advance by completing the form below. To ensure a flawless presentation, we prefer that presenters submit their presentation electronically no later than two days in advance of the meeting so that we can load it onto the computer in the room and test it prior to the meeting (submit to isssemail@umich.edu). However, if you would prefer to use your own laptop, please schedule a rehearsal time to assure that the presentation will run smoothly during the meeting. We recommend using your own laptop if your presentation includes specialized multimedia presentations (ones employing Flash, Shockwave, Quicktime or other video/animation software), video elements, music, or any non-standard data-rich Power Point features. If you would like to rehearse your presentation prior to the meeting, on either our laptop or yours, please indicate this on the form. Rehearsal time is regularly scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon the day before the meeting (usually a Wednesday), and a two-day notice is required to schedule a rehearsal. Rehearsals and testing of presentations may be scheduled outside of this period, but there will be a fee of $120 per hour, with a one-hour minimum fee required. These rehearsals require one-week advance notice. Meeting and rehearsal assistance are provided by Jason Simpson, Michigan Productions (615-9702; division@umich.edu). Oversite and maintenance of electronic equipment in the Regents' Room is provided by Information Systems Shared Support in the Fleming Administration Building (615-3336; isssemail@umich.edu).
