How do I get involved?
Easy! Just start comming to any or all of our events.How do I get involved in a small group?
Easy! Just contact us online or come to one of our large group meetings and we will connect you with a small group near where you live.
How do I get onto (or removed from) the IV email list?
Email the Executive Team (ivcf.exec@umich.edu).
How do I send an announcement to the IV email list?
Our email list is moderated to cut down on unneeded email traffic and spam. To send email to the entire IV email list, send it to ivcf@umich.edu. One of our moderators will read it and determine if it should be forwarded to the entire list. Please allow up to 24 hours for this to occur.
Is InterVarsity a church?
No. InterVarsity is a campus ministry and is not intended to take the place of a church. We encourage all of our members to also be actively involved in a local church congregation.
What denomination is InterVarsity?
InterVarsity is a trans-denomination Christian movement and does not affiliate with any church denomination. Rather, we welcome all students, regardless of their church background, if any.
Is InterVarsity a sports club?
No. The name InterVarsity simply means "between schools", reflecting the fact that InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is a national movement that involves many schools. Many of us do however love to play sports and you will often find sports related activities on our events calendar.
How can I help?
Would you like to help organize an event of some kind. Would you like
to play an instrument or sing with our worship team? If you would like
to help out in any way, just talk to anyone that you see up front at large
group , your small group leader, or email ivcf.exec@umich.edu.
