Hi! Welcome to my webpage!
I'm Jiaxi /* pronounced as Joshee */, a junior in Computer Science Engineering at University of Michigan. I will be a Software Engineering Intern at Google Chrome OS team over the summer. I'm also actively networking and seeking a full time position at a startup type company after graduation (2015).
Transferred from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), I enjoy the snowy /* read: extremely cold */ winter as well as hacking spirit at U of Michigan. I'm currently a Lead Developer at Findcare.org, a non-profit startup providing a web database for searching free or affordable healthcare especially for those without health insurance /* about 50 million in US */. At my free time, I enjoy watching movies, swimming, and taking online courses.
Back in Shanghai, I had successfully ranked top 100 in Schneider Go Green in the City 2013, Honorably Mentioned on 2012 Mathematical Contest in Modeling, championed SJTU Freshmen Robotics Creativity 2012.
I previously worked as Web Developer Intern at Michigan Creative, Developer as well as Research Assistant with Prof. Xiaojun Chen at SJTU, Software Engineer Intern at Covidien, and Teaching Assistant for Intro to Programming at UM-SJTU Joint Institute. I have a great passion on web, database, system, and mobile.
