How do I update VirusScan to the most current virus definitions?
Since the updates are picked up from the internet, it means that you have to be connected to the internet. If you don't have a constant connection, then you need to dialup before you click on Start. How do you know which version of VirusScan that you have? 4.5.x has a sword in front of the shield, in VirusScan there is no sword. Right-Click on the shield and choose about. You will get a window with version information in it.
	For VirusScan 7, right click on the shield icon. The menu will appear. click on Update Now... A progress window will appear, but no further action is required from the user.
	For VirusScan 4.5.x Double Click on the VirusScan Console icon or right click on it and select restore. VirusScan 4.5.x has two icons, the VirusScan Console icon looks like a magnifying glass.
This will bring up VirusScan Console. Select (single click) AutoUpdate, then click on Start.

	You will get a status window, that first says processing, and later says complete (or will tell you there's an error.)
