Todd Smith Americans
Todd Smith American 1-piece clubs (with *no* handle wraps and *no* foam
ends since this just adds unnecessary weight) have a very nice, slow,
predictable flip, are easy on the hands, fairly lightweight, great for
passing and are quite durable. They are excellent for 3, 4 and 5 clubs
(per person, if passing) but a bit too big for more than that, in my
opinion (at least, that is the excuse I use for why I can't do 6). They
are more money than most 1-piece clubs, I think, but worth the price,
which is comparable to composite clubs. They hurt when you hit yourself
in the head with them, but not as much as most 1-piece clubs. I solved
the problem personally by not hitting myself in the head anymore.
