Welcome

Shalom and Welcome to the official website of Kol HaKavod, the University of Michigan's premiere Jewish a cappella group. We hope that you will find our website to be both informative and entertaining. In exploring this site, you will find a roster of our group's current members, a record of our amazing alumni, and dates for upcoming events. If you click the Multimedia tab to the left, you can view our group's current and former song repertoire and listen to samples of our music.
In Kol HaKavod, we focus on music that is both culturally and religiously Jewish. We sing anything from Sabbath prayers to Israeli pop songs to traditional Hebrew classics. However, we also sing popular American songs that are not specifically related to Judaism.
So who are we? Kol HaKavod is a professional, lovable, and quite attractive bunch of college students with a passion for kosher meat, JDate, and singing our little hearts out. We harmonize in U of M's Hillel, demand attention on the Diag, and frequently belt out tunes in public bathrooms.
Please see our contact page to book us for an event or to simply "challah" at us. We cordially invite you to hear us perform at Hillel twice a year for our Fall and Winter concerts. Our next concert is on Sunday, December 6th, 2009 at 6pm in the Green Auditorium of Hillel! Tickets are $5 for UMich students and $7 for non-students. To order tickets, contact a member of KHK, or send an e-mail to Jen Johnson at jensjohn@umich.edu.
We encourage you to delve into our website and, as always, Go Blue!
Best,
Kol HaKavod
