Better late than never. . .
Here comes the first installment of the tour saga. . .
The HEADers arrived in St. Louis around 12 am this morning, and quickly crashed on the floors of Kerwin's and my apartments. About 7 am we were up and at 'em with breakfast. At 8:30, we went out the door, and nearly ran into Marie Lavalley, participant #7 in the tour. We then proceeded into the city of St. Louis to the Foster Care Coalition Kidstore, to do inventory and rearragent the furnature. We made a new friend in the project leader, Norann, and she and the rest of us went to lunch at St. Louis Bread Co. (or Panera) in the Central West End. We then trekked to Laclede's Landing and wandered around the Arch Grounds, trying to get the perfect picture of Julie holding up the Arch with her bare hands. From there we proceeded back to Wash U for a tour and pit stop. . .
And thus ends the St. Louis chapter of the HEAD tour. Currently, the van is heading west on I-70 to Kansas Cities MO and KS, and will be stopping in Manhattan KS this evening.

- Just wanted to say the the HEAD tour crew passed through Kansas after some fun in Kansas City!! The night was complete with cheesecake, crazy chinese fire drills and some crazy stunts in the fountains of KC. Glad to hear the crew made it to Arizona and we are looking forward to seeing you in San Diego very soon! Hope you had fun with us in Kansas in the heart of the MIDWEST!!!! :)
