We are currently looking for some wild (yet responsible) Circle Kers to take positions for this year's Tour.  There are many different ways to get involved in the HEAD Tour 2002 and we encourage everyone to get involved somehow. This is a great chance to meet Circle Kers from all around the world, get involved and learn more about the K-Family, help develop the revolutionary activity known as "Road Service," and bring our organization closer together!  Please read the descriptions below to see what position fits you and then fill out the preliminary interest form.  Thanks!

If you would like to hand out some information about the HEAD Tour to your club and friends, you may download and print these documents here:

We're Always Looking for a Few Good . . .
  • HEADers: Together we will drive the thousands of miles across the US, Canada, and Mexico to Orlando, FL for ICON 2002.  With, of course, a few stops and a lot of fun on the way! All Circle Kers are welcome and encouraged to become HEADers.  Basically, being a HEADer means you will engage in Road Service with us. Sweet.
  • HEADhosts: These peeps are Circle Kers, Districts, Kiwanians, Key Clubbers, and other members of the K-Fam who help us during the Tour.  At each Tour stop we will be in contact with at least one host.  This person (and their club, district, Kiwanis, etc) will then help the HEAD Tour with lodging and food, as well as setting up service projects, campus visits, and other fun activities in their area.  The host is a vital part of the HEAD Tour and we will be looking for many of them for HEAD Tour 2002!
Clubs - Sponsor a day with a meal, project, sightseeing, and/or lodging effort.
District
- Same as clubs or have a "Road Service" site where we can stop by!

Individuals - Come along just for the fun, or provide a meal or place to stay for a night. We would love to simply visit your college or Kiwanis club too! :)

  • Financial Sponsors: We are always looking for financial sponsors for the HEAD Tour, including Kiwanis clubs and local and national businesses.  The Tour is a great way to help a worthwhile cause, as well as gain much publicity for your organization.  HEADers leave press releases at each of their stops, as well as leave much gratification for those who help them out!  Please encourage local businesses and Kiwanians to help us out in these efforts! Sponsors also will be featured on our website, so take a look at our current sponsors by clicking here.
  • HEADmasters: These people need to make a yearly commitment to bringing this trip to reality.  Most work through the school year involves making contacts throughout the K-Fam world, organizing the actual Tour Hosts & Routes, and finding funds.  The summer stays busy as you may be finalizing press releases funding requests, confirmations, partnerships, etc.  On the actual Road trip, HEADmasters are the go-to people for the duration of the trip, and will be responsible for coordinating the people in their vehicle (usually at least one HEADmaster per car/van).  If interested in this, the current HEADmasters will contact you personally in the near future.
  • Groupies: Well, you don't need to actually apply for this one.  We expect many along the way regardless, so check out the routes and have fun with HEAD 2002!
