Background:
I received my B.S. in Chemical Engineering from
Han-Yang
University (Korean version click
here), Seoul,
South Korea, in 2000. I then crossed the Pacific Ocean for
my graduate study in Biomedical Engineering at University
of Michigan. I became a member of Kopelman research group
in September 2002.
Current Research:
The goal of my research is to make a PEBBLE system
that is physically stable in physiological condition and
to increase the singlet oxygen production from PEBBLE for
use of photodynamic therapy (PDT). I, currently, working
on constructing detection procedure of singlet oxygen
production from Ormosil (organically modified silane)
PEBBLE.
