    • Homework 2 This homework utilizes the SAS data set created from the class data for homework 1. Some recodes and transformations are done on the data. Boxplots are created and independent samples t-tests, paired t-tests, and one-sample t-tests are carried out for the whole sample, and by RAN status.

    • Homework 3 This homework asks you to use two permanent SAS data sets that you need to download from my web page. Be sure to place them in a folder where you can access them later, and assign a libname statement so you can use these data sets.

    • Homework 4 This homework asks you to use two permanent SAS data sets. One (allgroups2.sas7bdat) was created as a part of homework 2. I am including a copy of this data set here, in case you don't have access to the data set you created earlier. The other (cars.sas7bdat) was used for the lectures on linear regression and dummy variables in regression.

    • Homework 5 This homework uses the allgroups.sas7bdat file that we created for homework 1, and the Afifi data. You will be fitting an ANCOVA model, and several logistic regressions.

    • Homework 6 This homework asks you to read in an Excel file and carry out independent samples t-tests, paired samples t-tests, and one-sample t-tests. It also asks you to read in raw data using a data list command in SPSS.

    This homework uses the allgroups.xls file that I put together from the group1 through group7 Excel files that we created for homework 1. It also uses the Afifi data, which you can download below.
