Authentic French, Spanish, and English Video Clips From Television, Film and Music! Accessible to students, faculty, staff and alumni of University of Michigan. [Registration Necessary; it's FREE! ]
Introducing Yabla for Spanish, French and English as a Second Language! The University of Michigan Language Resource Center is pleased to provide access to authentic Video Clips in Spanish, French, and English. It’s fun and easy to use! -Over 80 clips for Spanish -Over 60 clips for French -Over 20 clips for ESL Here’s what Yabla says about its programming: “Yabla videos come from contemporary television, film and music, videos intended for native speakers and made by native speakers. First and foremost the material in our products is engaging, entertaining, and real, the very same material that natives are watching every day for information and entertainment. Clips span the geo-political world that calls each language its own, providing exposure to a wide variety of accents and dialects. Because it is fun, entertaining, informative, and always changing, learners return regularly and frequently, progressing rapidly.”
There’s also a “ Yabla Game” feature for each video clip with vocabulary recognition activities, by which you can practice your listening skills.
