Report A Hate Crime
If you have encountered an act of hate, vandalism, or discrimination based on your actual or perceived gender or sexual identity, please report it to the Spectrum Center. The only way for us to decrease these crimes is to document them. The Spectrum Center will keep all names confidential, unless otherwise instructed.
Hate crimes strike fear in a entire group of people if they are committed against one member of that group. We are not powerless in responding to hate. The greatest reason that hate crimes exist is because good people stay silent. Please take action when you see or experience hate.
The University of Michigan now has a centralized hotline for reporting hate crimes and bias incidents. The number is 734.615.BIAS (2427).
