The Information Technology Central Services (ITCS) Listserver service allows you to manage and use large mailing lists. The ITCS Listserver service utilizes software called Lyris, and can be accessed using your e-mail program or from the Web.
ITCS provides class section e-mail groups (called "classlists" or "class listservs") for instructors, using enrollment data provided by the Registrar's Office. E-mail groups located on the listserver provide greater security and functionality for both the instructors and the students. ITCS also provides lists for other purposes. Individuals affiliated with the University may request new lists, or the conversion of Online Directory e-mail groups into listservs.
