Discussion E-Mail groups "Discussion" listservs allow anyone who is a member of the list to send e-mail to the listserv; non-members are prohibited from sending email to the listserv, and so unwanted, unsolicited e-mail is thwarted. Discussion listservs are easily converted to "anouncement-only" lists should the need arise. |

Announcement-Only E-Mail groups "Announcement-only" lists allow only the list owners to send e-mail to the listserv; other members are not allowed send messages to these "announcement only" lists. Announcement-only listservs are easily converted to "discussion" lists should the need arise. |
