Learning Mathematics for Teaching Project
Research and results
We have used these measures to study the structure of teacher knowledge (Hill, Schilling & Ball, 2004), how teachers learn mathematical knowledge for teaching (Hill & Ball, 2004), and how teacher knowledge relates to gains in student mathematical achievement (Hill, Rowan & Ball, in press). As more studies are finished, we will make them available here. Research organizations using our measures are also welcome to post results to this site; please contact Heather Hill (hillhe@gse.harvard.edu) for more information.
