Aurora of December 14, 2006
by Clayton Kessler
On the evening of December 14, 2006, there were reports of an aurora visible from the Ann Arbor, Michigan area.
Clayton Kessler took the photographs above on December 14th at his home (located near Manchester, Michigan). Here’s what he said about the photos:
I used film—Kodak Royal Gold 200 and a Canon 24mm lens with 30 seconds exposure on each.
I like the result with film on this aurora.
I only wish I could expose for a shorter time to “freeze” some of the detail.
