If you wish to see a nice selection of red rays, etc., see the aurora pics taken at Sherzer Observatory last night using our DSLR on the roof deck. (Sherzer Observatory is located on the campus of Eastern Michigan University at Ypsilanti). It was probably the best display I’ve seen in a decade down at this latitude, ah, but all too brief. The show ended too soon.
