Photographs From the University Lowbrow Astronomers
Perseid Meteor Shower, Wednesday August 12, 2009.
by Mike Radwick

Hi everyone,
Mark, some friends, and I were at Peach Mountain last Wed. gathering photons.... Since the Perseids were very near peak, I set up my camera and took some shots. Here is one with both a plane and a meteor captured at the same time. I imagine most of you can tell which is which.
Details:
Image was taken with Canon EOS 30D camera with 17mm lens at F4.5 at 10:50pm local time. Exposure was 60 seconds at ISO 500, looking North East (notice the meteor in Cassiopeia near the lower left).
Enjoy,
Mike Radwick
