Contributing to the LSO
The University of Michigan Life Sciences Orchestra presents its concerts free to the public twice a year at Hill Auditorium, known world-wide for its outstanding acoustics. The LSO is a program of the U-M Health System's Gifts of Art Program. Gifts of Art is supported, in part, by the FRIENDS of the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers, as well as through grants, donations and art sales. The Life Sciences Orchestra is self supporting, and donations help to make these concerts possible.
You or your business may choose to support the LSO via a number of different gift options:
- Secure online giving
- If you prefer to mail a check, please make payable
and mail to:
U-M Life Sciences Orchestra NI-5E06, 300 North Ingalls, SPC 5470
Ann Arbor, MI 48109-5470
- Planned donations: Including the Life Sciences Orchestra in your bequest, trust or other life-income donation provides lasting support for our important program while meeting your own long-term financial and philanthropic goals. For more information about private support for Gifts of Art and the LSO, contact Brian Lally, Associate Vice President for Medical Development and Alumni Relations at (734) 763-1405 or Elaine Sims, director of Gifts of Art, at 734.936.7634.
All contributions to the Life Sciences Orchestra through the University of Michigan qualify as tax-deductible charitable contributions.
