Lambda Theta Alpha develops strong leaders who provide and practice political, social and cultural activities. LTA also promotes Latino Unity through charitable and educational programs while maintaining a high standard of learning and serving as a voice for all Latino students.

The organizational aspect of Lambda Theta Alpha allows for sisters to develop leadership and organizational skills to help them succeed in college and in the work force. All sisters gain valuable experience in planning and facilitating events as well as the opportunity to work closely with various other organizations of diverse backgrounds.
