Welcome to the website of the Beta Omicron chapter of LAMBDA THETA ALPHA LATIN SORORITY, INC., located at the University of Michigan. Beta Omicron chapter is the 38th undergraduate chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha (LTA). Our chapter was founded on January 23, 2000 by 8 strong, determined and intelligent Latinas. Since our establishment at U of M, we have made great strides on our campus and in the state of Michigan. Beta Omicron chapter along with Beta Pi chapter at Eastern Michigan University became the first Lambda Theta Alpha chapters in the entire Midwest. Since then, we have seen LTA grow in many ways and have contributed greatly to the community at large.

The purpose of Lambda Theta Alpha is to provide a sisterhood based on Unity, Love, & Respect. To develop strong Leaders who will then provide and practice political, social and cultural activities. To promote Latino Unity through charitable and educational programs. To maintain a high standard of learning and serve as a voice for all Latino students.
