APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Students who are already enrolled at the University of Michigan are able to apply for the LUCY Initiative during the Fall semester.

2. Incoming Students are given the opportunity to join LUCY when they apply for housing and membership in the Michigan Community Scholars Program during Summer Orientation.

In the application process, students write a statement of their previous service experiences, interest in the urban issue and youth, and their goals for participation in the program. You can download a copy of the second semester application here.
